Welcome to Flashback Fix. 

I enjoy restoring items from yesteryear including computer, audio, gaming, other electronics and cameras. 

My mission is to restore great items from times past and make them available to people to enjoy again as well as exploring new circuit designs.

I started working with electronics 25 years ago after becoming an amateur (ham) radio operator, building circuits, antennas, and repairing amateur radio equipment. Eventually this led to me chose more challenging projects over time. 

While I do not consider myself an expert in electronics or electronic engineering I have developed learning, equipment, and skills over time. 

My favorite projects include restoring Commodore 64s which I have done enough to have a good understanding of them. I also enjoy restoring vintage film cameras including small, medium, and large format cameras which also compliments my photography hobby. 

I have tried to assemble some of the most basic information on this site to assist people just getting into things like the Commodore 64. The internet is full of information about this great computer, and it has a fan following for a reason. While there is nothing practical that a C64 can do that a modern computer can't and plenty of things a modern computer can do that a C64 cannot do there is one thing a modern computer can't do....it can't be a genuine Commodore 64!

I work on these great machines time permitting and then add them to my products page for purchase. My goal is to always have a few ready for purchase but if you find that my inventory is empty check back occasionally.
